Tennis Club: Head of Development Tennis

I've been assisting with the R&D coaching with the current committee members and have decided to step forward as the head. I see this position as mostly an organisational role while running the coaching. With this experience, I would want coordinators to be very involved with the decision making and execution of plans for the R&D group, eg. Social Media, LUSL & BUCS recruiting for assisting in coaching, assisting in the coaching themselves and potentially running tournaments. Below are some personal notes from myself to get a better understanding of my ability and initial ideas I'd bring forward. 

Experience:

• UCL Tennis R&D Coach from 2017-2020
• UCL Tennis Treasurer 2018/19 & 2019/20
• Started coaching back in 2013 at Sutton Tennis and Squash Club
• Coached at 6 different schools over 5 years
• Level 1 LTA

Manifesto:

• Create an official scheme to get LUSL and BUCS players more involved in coaching and have them rewarded with qualification subsidies
• Develop an online resource page for the society regarding coaching that can be used in the future
• Increase player agency with a greater variety of sessions at different levels
• Introduce a competitive aspect for R&D players
