Technology Society: Workshop Director

Hey, I am Helena, a first-year BSc Computer Science student. I am running for workshop director for UCL Technology Society as I am passionate about planning workshops that could pique students' interest in learning more about the vast field of technology, regardless of what course they study. After participating in the hackathon organised by UCL CSS and UCL TechSoc, I was amazed by how much I could learn from the rest of the participants and was inspired to play an active role in the community. I wish to be part of encouraging UCL TechSoc to becoming a society that welcomes students from all backgrounds to learn from each other.

With my past experiences of organising events for my college student council as well as UCL Malaysian Society, I have a lot to offer as a workshop director. I am passionate about event planning, adaptable and will ensure a smooth flow of the execution of any workshops to come. I am looking forward to utilising my event planning skills to organise exciting workshops for UCL TechSoc that members could benefit from.
