Table Tennis Club: Men's 2nd Team Captain

Hi everyone,

I’m William and I am running for the position of 2nd Team Captain for UCL table tennis Team for the upcoming academic year.

Throughout my time at UCL, I have participated in several extracurricular activities, including sports teams and academic societies, where I have held leadership positions. These experiences have equipped me with essential skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork that I will bring to the role of 2nd Team Captain.

If elected, I will focus on four key areas to support the team's success:

1. Improve the performance of the team: I will work with the team members to identify areas for improvement and develop a training program to enhance our skills and strategies.
2. Ensure effective communication: I will maintain regular communication with the executive committee to ensure that the team is informed of upcoming events and matches.
3. Provide mentorship and guidance: I will offer guidance and mentorship to new and less experienced team members to help them develop their skills and confidence.

As 2nd Team Captain, I am committed to working collaboratively with the team members and leadership to promote table tennis and create a positive and supportive environment for everyone. I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the role of 2nd Team Captain and contribute to the continued success of the UCL Table Tennis Team.
