What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
I will bring all of the knowledge I possess in the massive realm of sports, which includes all the ins and outs of managing sports clubs through being part of those clubs; managing budgets for many group activities that I have ever been a part of; teamwork, being able to work with other committee members in ensuring the best experience possible for other students. I am merely an avid sports fan who would like to see all sports at UCL run properly and run well, so that UCL can succeed at the university sports scale.
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
I hope to be able to be of help whenever and wherever I am required basically. Of course, the main objective would be to see more involvement in sports in general at UCL, whilst also with the potential of introducing new sports/bringing back old defunct sports. I am currently a freshman, and during freshers I saw that there was a baseball/softball club. That excited me as I had never had the opportunity to play before, but it was a shame when the club was actually not active. Furthermore, I would also hope to see general improvement in results for bigger clubs at the university.

I care about sports, and I care about UCL's stance in British university sports. I love the feeling of being part of a team, especially when we win, whether it is a sports team, or a committee team. The role would allow me to help out and watch from afar as UCL succeed. I am willing to devote the necessary hours needed to inch closer to the impacts I hope to achieve with this role, and to make being part of UCL sports something to be more proud of. Lastly, as mentioned before, I hope to get more people involved in sports at UCL, to share just an ounce of the passion I have for sports. Thanks.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
VOTE ORANGE and BLEED PURPLE. My name is Clementine and I have had an incredible experience with sport at UCL through leading a team and being President of the UCL Lacrosse Club this past year. Sport provides a community that helps people make the most out of their time at UCL, and I want to make sure that this can only continue to grow. That is why my manifesto ORANGE supports collaboration between sports clubs and makes it easier for Presidents and Treasurers to focus on what they do best.
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
Open communication: A President and Treasurer's hotline. Regular TEAMUCL Welfare sessions
Reach: A President and Treasurer chat channel. A web suggestion form for sports club members.
Accessibility: Collaborations between TEAMUCL clubs and other societies to include under-represented groups. Workshops on D&I with UCL's Inclusion Networks.
New members: Promoting TEAMUCL more at Welcome Week. Multi-club beginners sessions to widen participation
Giving back: A TEAMUCL Charity partnership for sports members to volunteer casually.
Events: Bi-annual TEAMUCL socials. A Summer Sports Day.

Daniel L Clarke and Zexing Li
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
The answer is simple. Over the past year, yours truly have been lucky enough to hold multiple different committee positions ranging from Swimming to Water Polo. Now these semi-fortunate placements have allowed us to gain some much needed real experience in the world of sports clubs here at UCL. In particular, DC's role as Welfare Officer has empowered him to recognise the necessity of prioritising the mental and physical wellbeing of all of our athletes, and so this, alongside the promotion of diversity and inclusion, is something that we will ever strive to do on behalf of all of you.
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
If we are elected, I think we can all agree that Team UCL needs to improve. Our plan to achieve this is straightforward. For starters, we will reduce the barriers to those who want to get involved in the fabulous world of sport by mandating that each TeamUCL sports club host certain workshops where newcomers are able to learn more about the respective sport. Following on from this, we will ensure that all TeamUCL athletes, irrespective of background or experience level, have the opportunity to be supported in a way where they are allowed to develop their abilities and achieve their potential.

Having put ourselves out there to participate in a variety of sports, we believe that we possess the edge needed to provide an avenue where all TeamUCL clubs, whatever their size and composition, will be able to grow and achieve their objectives. We are very friendly and passionate about creating an atmosphere where every TeamUCL athlete can enjoy themselves and take that long needed break from those endless essays and exams. We would therefore love to have the opportunity to continue the fantastic work of our predecessors and shape the forward looking and progressive direction of TeamUCL.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
In my 4 years at UCL I have been heavily involved in sport and it has been my favourite part of my university experience. I have been particularly involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including as president for 2 years and treasurer for 1. In 2021 I received the online activator sports award for my work. I also organised the martial arts ball this year.
I also work for TeamUCL as a sports and fitness assistant. Last term I led the administration of BUCS weekly fixtures, including scheduling matches, finding referees, booking travel and revamping the travel reclaims and requests system.
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
- Take advantage of the massive new grant given to the SU to level up the activities of our clubs.
- Launch a new TeamUCL mental health campaign increasing awareness, welfare training and fundraising.
- Revamp and improve the training and support given to Presidents, Treasurers and Captains.
- Organise more TeamUCL wide social and fundraising events.
- Expand travel reclaims to all BUCS and LUSL games taking place outside of zone 2.
- Increase the number of people involved in TeamUCL Leagues and the sports offered.
- Improve worker’s rights and opportunities available for TeamUCL student staff.

From my experience in running a club as it has grown from a relatively small club into a large one, I understand the unique needs and requirements of non-BUCS Clubs and martial arts clubs. Also from running BUCS weekly fixtures I understand what support BUCS Clubs need and I believe I am uniquely equipped to provide it and advocate on your behalf.
I also know how TeamUCL works behind the scenes so know how best to implement my ideas and help improve everyone’s sporting experience at UCL, whether you are involved in social sport, casual sort, competitive sport or are an elite athlete.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
Hey I’m Demi! I’m the President of UCL Calisthenics Club and Sports Rep.
This is what I will bring to this role:
- This year I was a Sports Rep and worked with the current sports officer in a job-share at the Union Executive, the highest level possible in UCL’s policy change.
- As president of UCL Calisthenics Club, we tripled our members to become one of the most popular sports clubs at UCL.
- For 6 years, I’ve helped pioneer the sport of Calisthenics; through social media with a following of 250k+ and founding the University Calisthenics Association, bringing together over 30 universities.
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

- Access: Sport is for EVERYONE. University can be one of the last opportunities to try a new sport - I aim to maximise this opportunity by increasing the exposure of sports that are less established.
- Create: Having successfully developed a sport from grassroots level, the importance of media presence is unavoidable. I aim to progress UCL’s sports media and create more hype at the biggest UK university!
- Together: To bridge the disconnect between RUMS and TeamUCL. I’d love to work with RUMS to maximise UCL’s overall sporting presence and unify students - strength comes in numbers.

My experiences have naturally led me to be prepared for this position, but more importantly, I have an unconditional love for sport. This role has been staring me in the face since I begun sports at UCL, and I can promise that there is no one else who would be more enthusiastic representing UCL sport than me. I'm determined to make an impactful change and spread the passion. Bleed purple.
