Snooker and Pool Club: Welfare Officer

I am running for the welfare officer not only out of my passion for this amazing sport, but also because I want to offer the club members a better overall experience.

I would like to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment where players of all abilities could enjoy playing this beautiful sport, especially for those beginning players. This includes organizing weekly social event where people could come by, have a friendly match with each other and talk to each other. During these sessions, beginning players can receive coaching sessions from our best players so that they can become better and be prepared for competition.

Another aspect that I would improve on is our publicity. Pool and snooker, as official sports should have more attention from our fellow students of UCL. Therefore I plan to organize a group of people to help to run our social media sites such as instagram and facebook, to do weekly updates on events and post highlights from our players. 

I am a very responsible, passion-driven and friendly person, and I hope to make a positive impact on my favourite society in UCL.
