Sikh Society: Welfare Officer

Hi! My name is Shweta and I am currently studying Population Health Sciences with Data Science. During my first year at the society, I had the privilege of serving as a First Year Representative. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the committee, building strong friendships with committee members, and contributing to various events. This experience has allowed me to stay connected with my Sikh religion.

I am passionate about supporting the well-being of individuals in the community, and I believe that the role of Welfare Officer is an opportunity for me to make a positive impact. If selected for this role, I would work to provide resources and support for members of the society who may be struggling with mental or emotional challenges.

Additionally, I would work to ensure that the society is an inclusive and supportive space for all members. I believe that my experience in supporting others and my passion for the Sikh community would make me a valuable member of the committee. I am excited about the opportunity to continue serving the Sikh Society and contributing to its mission and goals.
