Tess Farr

Hi! I'm Tess Farr, and I would love to be the Athletics Captain for RAX. I've run track for about 7 years now - my favorite events are the 400m hurdles, 4x4 relay, and open 400m, but I have also been known to do the 100m hurdles and 4x1 when desperate times call for desperate measures :) Athletics has always been one of my happy places! This year, I've really enjoyed the track sessions with the Highgate Harriers, and I'd love to be able to make sure those continue to run smoothly in the future. Whether you are a longtime track athlete, a road/trail runner interested in speed work, or whether you're just curious about athletics in general, I would encourage everyone to join a track session at least once. I love going to the track and would be excited to be able to share that experience with others as Athletics Captain. So far, I've had the chance to compete with UCL RAX in one athletics meet and I'm looking forward to running in more in the future. I think that the team aspect of athletics is especially important in meets, and I would love to provide support and coordination for competitions as both a teammate and a captain (as a side note, I'm American - yelling loudly to cheer on the team comes naturally!). All in all, I would love to be your RAX Athletics Captain, and I would be so thrilled if you'd vote for me. Thanks for reading!!

Ochuko S Edward

At this point, the athletics part of RAX seems to be a shadow of what it once was and I want to help return it to what it once was.
