Psychology and Education Society: President

Dear PES Members,

I am nominating myself for re-election as the President of our society. In my previous roles as the Events Coordinator and later as President, I focused on building a strong sense of community through regular and varied events and providing valuable resources through our weekly newsletter.

Moving forward, I am committed to expanding our membership, improving communication by targeting different communities within the PHD department as well as the IOE and UCL, and creating opportunities for academic and professional development.

My experience as the current President, combined with my passion for psychology and education, and my dedication to serving our members, make me the ideal candidate to continue the work that our current committee has started. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue leading our society towards building a stronger foundation.

Hey guys, this is Zhiyi Chen, and you can also call me Carol. Among the MBTI 16 personality types, I'm an ENFJ, which is also called as a protagonist, who is always caring, warm-hearted, energetic and extroverted, and always a leader in a team. I love organizing and make plans and communicate with others. I initiate the first English society in my high school and participated as the president in it and organized various events relating to language activities. And I'm now one of the student representatives in IOE. Also, I love to make friends and attend various kinds of activities. I've been to multiple activities in PES society, and found it extremely interesting, the girls here are all kind and friendly, I had a great time in every events. That's why I want to nominate for the role of president in this society, because I love the atmosphere here and I want to share the happiness to everyone, and continually organize and lead more intriguing and meaningful events. Though I haven't act as a society president in a university before, but I'm really excited about cooperate with you guys and share a wonderful time together!
