Alyssa Khoo
Pole fitness has been the absolute highlight of my time at UCL - I've loved being on committee the past year and getting to know more people within the club.
As treasurer, I've not only been incredibly involved with the running of the club (from the paperwork to organising open practice times) but also gotten to know the Student Union forms inside and out (except for when they throw me a curveball like translating a Lithuanian receipt). Throughout these two terms, I've learned the value of communication, teamwork and adapting to unexpected challenges.
If you vote for me, I promise to keep on throwing my entire soul into this club and supporting next year's committee. In addition to liaising with instructors and organising classes that accommodate for our ever-growing club and allow people to continue progressing, I would love to run more regular workshops (both student-led and externally). I'm reliable and organised and will be a friendly (albeit kinda tired) face around the studio :)
I love this club a lot and would love to continue to be as involved as possible <3
