Photo Society: President

I have really enjoyed being president of the Photo Society this year and feel privileged to have been able to work with such a great committee! We have successfully built the society back up and I would appreciate the opportunity to continue this next year - bringing even more events and opportunities to society members.
This year we have developed darkroom sessions for society members. I would like to increase the availability of these sessions, including various workshops from the basics of darkroom printing to more advanced techniques and film development. I would also like to develop practical workshops, including photo editing, film scanning and more creative workshops. Additionally, I am currently working on increasing the number of external speakers - something I would like to grow further next year with guests from various photographic genres. I would also like to improve the range of society equipment accessible to members.
Next year I would like to continue increasing inter-society collaborations developed by this year's committee, particularly collaborations with the fashion, sports and music societies. A society magazine and exhibition is also something I would like bring into focus - giving members the opportunity to have their work tangibly displayed as part of the society.
I hope people have enjoyed this year of PhotoSoc. I am always open to feedback from members about what can be improved or changed.
