Pakistan Society: Charity Officer

PakSoc has a rich tradition of integrating charity and fundraising activities into their events, including the fantastic charity week. It's amazing to see how these events unite so many people from various walks of life for an excellent cause. I would love to be a part of the incredible team and carry on this legacy by organising events that bring people together and raise funds for charities that provide basic necessities to disadvantaged individuals worldwide. At the end of the day, it's the small efforts that accumulate to make the biggest difference, and I'm eager to contribute to this collective initiative.

Hi everyone! My name's Alesha, I'm a first year Biological Sciences student hoping to be your Charity Officer next year.  Attending the PakSoc events this year has been one of the biggest factors in helping me settle into UCL, so I would love to be more involved next year to help establish the amazing sense of community!  If elected, I plan to make charity a fundamental part of Paksoc by working with the rest of the committee to:

- Continue and develop existing traditions within PakSoc - namely the major events in charity week to maintain the essence of the society,

- Have more frequent events to raise money for a larger and more diverse body of recipients,

- Expand the types of events held by collaborating with other societies inside and outside of UCL to create a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
