Hey Seshballers,

Eve and Florrie here - the silliest freshers in the game.

WE LOVE NETBALL AND WEDNESDAYS. We want to make sure you guys love it just as much as we do, therefore we thought it would only be right to run for social secs this year! As freshers, netball has been a brilliant way to make friends and the socials really helped bond us. We want to carry this on. This year, under our control, we would like to propose a few things. First of all, boys. Secondly, more boys. Although mixed socials are a fun way to meet new people, for it to work the netball core needs to be strong. This is our main priority this year- bringing everyone together in an inclusive and safe space. To do this we want to make the family system central to socials (giving freshers a mum and grandma to show them how the club works), have a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic socials and make sure we’re listening to you guys about your ideas and suggestions. Our motto is no woman left behind <3

Quite frankly, we just want you guys to have fun and be there for everyone to make netball an accommodating and unified environment! Oh, and we also want you to join us in getting plastered every Wednesday; if u fancy!

With love, Eve and Florrie xx
