MODO Fashion Society: President

I started in Modo under the presidency of Anastasia in 2019 but was very anxious to join. However, I ended up participating in two fashion shows within my first year of being a modo member. The day I walked my first fashion show, I knew that I eventually wanted to become the president of Modo one day. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of Anastasia; I wanted to make people feel confident and powerful and create the same sense of a loving community that she had created for the members. 

From there, I became the head of production for Modo in 2020/21 and then became the model coordinator for Modo from 22/23. I have loved the skills that I have gained from being in the society, but also I have built up a brilliant community with like-minded people, which has been extremely rewarding for me. It will be my final year at UCL, so if granted the position of President, it will be a way to finish my fantastic journey with Modo with a bang. 

I believe that all the years of experience within the modo committee have prepared me to undergo the responsibilities of President of the society. I hope to plan unforgettable events, such as photo walks, working with brands, and one of the biggest fashion shows that UCL has ever had, with possible collaboration with SELECT MODELS and London School of Economics and Political Science.
