Live Music Society: Treasurer

Hey everyone, my name is Zoe, a keyboardist (improv lover) majoring in philosophy and economics. After staying in live music society for a year, I really love the free vibe and cool people here. Thus, with my past experience being a treasurer in various school events, I would like to run for this treasure position. I am meticulous personality-wise, so I will make sure to purely use logic and a rational mind whenever calculating or organizing some affairs for live music on the financial side. I expressing my interest in the role of Treasurer as a spreadsheet enthusiast and an actively involved society member. If elected, my goals consist of prioritizing funds for technical equipment and providing the necessary resources to deliver high-quality music events and experiences for our members. Hi everyone, I’m Adam and I am a pianist and singer ! As a music enthusiast and numbers fanatic, I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the treasurer for the live music society. I believe that my organisational skills, my mathematical skills and passion for music make me the best fit for this role.

Firstly, having a solid mathematical background at high school level I feel at ease with numbers. This is showcased by my choice of degree: Geography and Social Data Science, as the latter part demands extensive statistical and numeric skills necessary for a treasurer. 

Secondly, I am very organised and detail-oriented, which are critical qualities for a treasurer. As such, I am quietly confident that I can keep accurate records, ensure timely payments, and manage the society's finances efficiently.

Finally, as a music lover, I am passionate about supporting and promoting live music. I understand the importance of providing a platform for artist, and I believe that the live music society plays a vital role in fostering a vibrant music community at UCL.
