Legal Tech Society: Legal Technologies Officer

Hi everyone! My name is Tony and I’m running for the role of Legal Technologies Officer! I have avid interests in finance, regulations, and tech and have contributed to the FinTech Review in the past year as a FYR. I am also immensely passionate about the intersection of law and technology and I believe that the Legal Technology Society is the perfect platform to explore this intersection. As the Legal Technologies Officer, I hope to delve deeper into the field alongside members and improve the society!

Workshops, Seminars and Resources

The area of legal tech may still be ambiguous to members, but through workshops and seminars we can clearly and succinctly pass on the main ideas of legal tech. We can also provide an online depository where resources are handpicked by executives for members so that it’s relevant and interesting.

Networking events/panels and speakers

The best way to gain experience and exposure to the area is through meeting and networking with professionals in that area. By collaborating with marketing, we can organise panel events and networking opportunities that will allow members to connect with professionals in the industry.

Social events

Above all, I believe a friendly and welcoming environment is the most important aspect of a society. Though our primary goal is to educate our members about legal tech, we want to create a wholesome atmosphere where learning will be enjoyable and exciting!
