K-POP Society: President

Ever since I joined, K-Pop society has always been my safe space where I can forget about uni stress and enjoy time with my friends. After a fruitful year with the society, I am determined to create the same environment for current and future members next year.

I aim to make the society more inclusive by catering its activities to as many people as possible. Besides the current ones, I plan to hold more socials for those who may not be interested in performing, such as Karaoke Nights, Korean BBQ socials, more frequent game nights inspired by Korean variety shows, and more. For the showcases, I also want to collaborate with a few other societies to increase our connections within the community.

As an outgoing and approachable person, I will be ready to hear and execute your opinions to create a year as memorable as possible for everyone. I am detail-oriented, which allows me to ensure every plan, event and action from the committee is executed smoothly. Having experience in various leadership roles has allowed me to hone my communication and time-management skills, which are crucial to excel as president, and fosters my liaison with SU to bring as many benefits as possible to our members. As an active member of the society since the beginning of the academic year, I am dedicated to its success for the future year ahead.
