This might sound controversial, but I believe clowns should socialise as well. As the only extrovert at UCL, I have often found myself complaining due to the lack of social activities in this society. Additionally, I have indirectly started a new social even without the title. I should at least get this title so my ideas don't rot in a Google drive along with my past essays.

I can not promise the world, but I can promise great ideas and fun. I have a lot of experience with organising social events as the last standing extrovert here and planning weddings after the first date. I am willing to fight for this as long as I am alive.

My mum might have raised a clown, but she did not raise a quitter.

Sometimes God gives his hardest battles (not being on the Jacs committee) to his strongest warriors (me.).

Tell me—who has been there from day one of this year? Who is recording everything that happens for posterity's sake, when one of us inevitably takes over the world? Who is in the background talking absolute horseshit in the fire night videos?

I think you know the answer. I have put enough hours into this society that it could be considered a full-time job.

Fun and games aside, a committee position for Jacs is not a light role. As I'm sure you've heard from current committee members, Nick works them to the bone. I have consistently demonstrated commitment to the society, putting hours and hours into the documentary and other work for the show. I've only ever missed Jacs during reading weeks while out of the country. Even in my busiest weeks, when I skip other activities, I always make time for Jacs. It is one of the highlights of my week and I hope to God many of us can say the same and I'm not alone in that.

I have been and will continue to be a dedicated member of Jacs. I am willing to put as much work as necessary into the society, and, as a history student, I definitely have the time. I will take my role as a leader of the clowns seriously.

Cats love me. Marco fears me. What more do I need to say?

Also, the founder of the society literally said he would support me.
