Hi everyone, my name is Aakash Patel. I'm a first-year Maths with Econ student and am am running to be your Speaker Relations VP next year.

As your VP, I'll be confident in reaching out and attracting the very best speakers to provide our members with the most insightful events. Having worked with high net-worth clients at Asquire Wealth Management, I believe that I have developed an understanding of market trends and will be able to execute incisive interviews with leaders in the industry.

The highlight of UCLIS for me personally this year, has been the Point72 Coffee Chat and Speaker Event. The event presented a rare and unique opportunity for members to be introduced into career prospects at a global hedge fund. After attending this talk, I realised the impact I could make for UCLIS members as the VP for Speaker Relations, changing the way members perceive the world of finance. I look forward to the chance of joining the committee and provide the renowned speaker events that UCLIS is known for.
