Horse Riding Club: First Team Captain

I have loved being the captain this year, and would love to continue being a part of the committee in the future (it would give me a good opportunity to shirk dissertation work). The role has given me an amazing opportunity to better know the members of our teams and everyone else in the club and committee. I believe that I promote the standards that we as a club wish to convey to the other teams we compete against - sportsmanship, work ethic and good morale. I also enjoy being around the horses hugely, having had to say goodbye to my own when I started university two years ago. 

I believe I am an organized and competent captain, and would enjoy the opportunity of continuing my role next year.

Finally, if that hasn't convinced you I would like to appeal to your humanitarian side... I now have a huge coat with "First Team Captain" obnoxiously plastered on the back, and I would like to continue being able to wear it... it's a very nice coat.
