Hockey Club (Women's): Social Secretary

As you may know, I am not the most talented athlete, and my attendance to early morning Sunday matches has been poor at best. However, Scala? I will not fail to be there every week. As a self proclaimed Scala fiend, I will make sure to get our freshers there every week, unless they don’t make it out of Phin (never happened to me…). I’ve got a lot of ideas for our upcoming year, although it’ll be hard to beat the fab socials we already have had.

Joining hockey this year has been amazing, purely because of the friends I have made. I love the hockey gals and I will make it my mission to make sure the Freshers have just as great an experience as I have had this year. From wearing nappies on the first day, to celebrating our home country on St Andrews Day (shoutout to Rosie) I can confidently say every social has been a blast.

In future, I hope to integrate the hockey club as a whole, and make sure everyone gets a good chance to meet each other across all teams. Some ideas for next year? Princess and the frog, dress as your type, anything but clothes, rhyme with out reason families, and many more.

If I am elected, I ensure I will try my absolute best to make this next year as good as this year has been!
