Hockey Club (RUMS Women's): Welfare Secretary

Hi guys, even tho I’ve been told I’m scary and look angry 99% of the time but I promise it’s just my face and that I’m actually friendly!!!! Plz let me be welfare sec and I will bring you all the most wholesome and friendly socials. 

Approachable

I am running for Welfare Officer as I think looking after your mental health is very important. Joining hockey just this year has been so positive for me as it gave me a really lovely community of girls to be a part of. I want to make sure everyone feels welcomed and feels part of the community. It can be difficult getting to know people especially as a fresher or if you don’t drink for example. I want to be the friendly face that people in this society feel they can trust and can go to when they need to. I also want to do events to connect the whole society with welfare activities such as group yoga and welfare drop ins bi termly.
