Viviane Privat

Hi I’m Viviane (or Viv)! For my 2nd year on the Football team, I am standing for social media secretary. This club has been an amazing way for me to get to know more people and play in such a welcoming environment and I  would love to be part of the committee to continue achieving this for others. UCLWFC’s social media made me aware of the socials, volunteering events, and matches because I was consistently updated.

My aim is to keep the members of this club next year constantly updated with upcoming events, socials, trainings, and matches - in advance. I suggest creating polls to vote and to  give you an opportunity to share your suggestions, which I can then relay to other members of the committee. After attending several socials, I am sure that I can promote these events through social media for maximum attendance! I believe that communication through Facebook and Instagram are one of the key components in a smoothly running club.

I am confident that with my experience with ICT courses, technology, website creation, and photography, I am the ideal candidate. I also have four years of experience in journalism, and thus, can write articles about our club, and can further use my camera at events/games to post on our social media to make them beautiful!

I would love be your next social media secretary to convey everything that the club has to offer. Ultimately, I seek to make our social media as cohesive as possible to reflect the cohesiveness of our teams and club!

Sophia Lorvo

With everyone using social media nowadays, it is important for clubs to have a good online presence with informative and attractive content to keep people up to date and encourage more members to join!

I would love to take this challenge on and work with the other members of the UCLWFC committee to pass on messages and information relating to the club by posting match scores of all three teams on the day, Wednesday socials and volunteering opportunities.

A big part of my responsibility would be attracting more people to women’s football, and highlighting the sport as it deserves! Answering direct messages to potential or current members will be my priority, as well as creating one big WhatsApp group at the start of the year where all information can be sent to ensure that interested members stay on and join a team.

I believe I have the capabilities to be Social Media Secretary, as I am organized and communicative and have experience with running accounts in the past for student life (see @cvl.lfm on Instagram), Model United Nations (@lfmun) and for a student-run festival (@semaineculturelle22).

I look forward to making sure that UCL Women’s football keeps its terrific reputation as it is and adding to its achievements by promoting it through its social media platforms in a fresh and fun way!
