Fencing Club: Welfare Officer

Hi everyone! My name is Christine, and I'm excited to be running for the position of Welfare Officer this academic year!

As the current Women's 2nd Captain, I have had the honour of leading and supporting my team both on and off the field. This role has taught me the significance of mental health and wellness in sports. I am well aware of the pressures that come with competing and how important it is to feel comfortable and confident. I am confident that I can use my experience to promote mental wellbeing within our club and offer support to anyone in need.

As your Welfare Officer, I would work closely with the rest of the committee to ensure that all members of our club feel supported, valued, and included. I would strive to create a positive and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background or experience.

I'm a compassionate and dedicated person who cares deeply about others. I'm committed to making a positive impact on our club and to supporting each and every member. I believe that I can be an effective Welfare Officer and contribute to the growth and success of our club.
