Female Forces in Fashion Business Society: Welfare Officer

Hi everyone!

My name is Anandi, and I am currently a first-year economics student. I’m standing for the position of Welfare officer.

Having initially joined the society to promote sustainability and gather support for small and growing businesses within the fashion industry, I tend to pay attention to factors revolving around the idea of welfare. As a welfare officer, I hope to ensure there is no misconduct when society activities are carried out, assist the president and team with any issues, and actively organise initiatives revolving around the ideas of well-being, mental and physical health, and sustainability in the fashion industry.

As a current first year representative for the FFFB society, I have demonstrated my commitment by actively participating in meetings, collaborating with the other members of the team, and spreading information and awareness about upcoming society activities. Overall, I believe my approachable nature, good communication and organisation skills align well with the qualities required in a good candidate for this role. 

I hope to continue contributing to the Female Forces in Fashion Business society and supporting others in their journey through the fashion business industry.
