Esperanto and Endangered Languages Society: Welfare Officer

I'm standing for Welfare Officer as I strongly believe in the role that societies play in welfare which drives me to ensure that wellbeing is at the heart of the EEL society. 

If I am elected as Welfare officer I would endeavour to ensure:

• Informal check-ins are continued in the society group chat and become regularly integrated
• All of our activities are accessible as possible - checking the needs of members and making adjustments where needed eg. breaks, formatting etc
• Regular check-ins with committee members to ensure workload is not damaging to their wellbeing so that everyone can get the most out of the society without facing burnout
• Coordination with the committee to check with members that the activities are based on what they would like to see as much as feasible
• That I am as approachable as possible with in the society and able to be contacted easily
