Dutch and Flemish Society: Head of Academics

Hallo allemaal! 

I would like to apply for the position of Head of Academics in the Dutch and Flemish Society because I have a strong passion for language education and a deep understanding of the coordination of language lessons. As a former Faroese teacher in the EEL Society, I have gained extensive experience in effectively organizing language classes and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of my students.

Moreover, my frequent visits to the Netherlands and my network of friends in Flanders have given me a solid foundation in the Dutch language and culture. I am currently pursuing a degree in French and German, which enhances my language skills and allows me to approach language teaching from a more holistic perspective. Additionally, I am pursuing a master's degree in education at UCL, which provides me with the theoretical and practical knowledge to develop effective language teaching strategies and coordinate language instruction effectively.

As the Head of Academics, I am confident that my skills and experience will enable me to foster an environment of intellectual curiosity and academic excellence within the Dutch and Flemish Society. I am committed to ensuring that the society remains at the forefront of language education and academic research, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.
