Dance Society: TranscenDance Producer

I have decided to run for TD producer due to the idea of being able to spread joy through the competitive and expressive nature of dance. After watching the 2022 Transcendance and seeing how the dance community was brought together I was awestruck. It was the first dance competition I have ever attended and the atmosphere and adrenaline rush I got even though I was not competing was amazing. I met so many beautiful dancers that day and will never forget how welcoming the network was. I want to be able to do my part for the dance community within UCL and help give others the same joyful feeling I had when I went to TD. I would love to be able to create an area where every dancer that attends feels 100% comfortable to express and portray the feelings they get when they dance; I want an environment where different people from different backgrounds can share and learn from each other. When I attended TD last year I found my passion for entertaining others through dance; just how I found my motivation I want others to do the same. The ability to host a dance competition and bring people together is something that both excites me and scares me. Although it does feel like a lot of pressure, the immense joy I would get out of unifying different dance teams is drives me to run for TD producer.
