Quinn Wingkiu Leung

Hi, I’m Quinn and I am running for Technology VP. Through my role as consultant on a client project and involvement with UCLCS events, I have a good understanding of the society’s mechanics and how its platform can help others navigate consulting careers. Having successfully expanded streams of the LFA society to tech insights, I hope to spearhead the tech division’s growth and bring opportunities that increase accessibility to the field.

As a part time at a tech company and an incoming tech consulting intern at PwC, I have built relationships with individuals from firms including EY and PwC as well as Big Tech such as Meta. If elected, I will leverage my networks and scout opportunities for those pivoting into tech consulting. I plan to bring three visions into fruition:

Client Projects

As a student consultant, I know the value of client projects in developing skill sets and networks. Hence, I will find projects targeting tech-facing issues to help students gain relevant experience.

Networking Events

I will host events with speakers from Big 4 and MBB firms as well as high-profile individuals from Big Tech to offer a wider breadth of insight into consulting across all areas, including industry.

Workshops and Work Experience

I will collaborate with TechSoc to host workshops on areas such as Python and UX design. Furthermore, I plan to run technical CV reviews with recruiters and regularly advertise work experience opportunities. I hope to work with all of you soon!

Yung-Jen Cheng

Dear consulting society members,

I am here to nominate myself as the VP of the tech division for the consulting society. I am here because I am eager to learn more about the tech consulting industry. I am also eager to help the ucl students who want to partipate in this industry to develop more technical skills and case experiences.

As a student studying a jointed degree of IT and management, I am well-experienced and suited for this job. Since last year, I've been eagered to join the consulting society committe. Although unfortunately I didn't get elected as a fyr, I contacted many current first year reps in the society to get to know more about how the consulting society runs. These are the two reasons why I think you should elect me.
