Jiaxin Lu

Hi,

I’m Jiaxin Lu, an incoming third-year History, Politics and Economics student. I’m here running for the Vice President of Client Project.

My main goal if elected is to provide more high-quality projects for students who are interested in consulting. This year, I joined a client project and gained unexpectedly valuable skills. Therefore, I would like to provide consulting projects covering more industries for future members-great opportunities to develop consulting skills in real-life cases and make friends with similar interests.

Thank you :)

Jiaxin

Maria-Cristina Ardelean

Are you ready to get hands-on experience in consulting with the UCL Consulting Society (UCLCS)? As the VP of Client Projects, I am committed to empowering the UCLCS members with the opportunity to gain real-life consulting experience while helping businesses find solutions to their problems.

Throughout this academic year, I had the fantastic opportunity to participate in two client projects, including one with UCLCS, which helped me to improve my commercial awareness and networking abilities. I look forward to employing these skills to help the UCLCS members gain the same valuable experiences that have been so crucial to my professional development.

If elected, my priorities as VP of Client Projects will include the following (whilst also being open to feedback):

1. Developing an understanding of the industries of interest of the UCLCS members and selecting a broad range of industries (e.g. life sciences, technology, sustainability).

2. Reaching out and connecting to stakeholders from relevant enterprises from the industries selected and sourcing fantastic client projects for the UCLCS members.

3. Promoting the client projects as much as possible to attract a diverse range of students, including those with a particular interest in consulting and those who may not have considered the industry before but possess the potential.

4. Building solid relationships with the partner businesses to ensure a long-standing collaboration and future opportunities for the UCLCS members.
