Lucia Kim

Hi, I’m Lucia, and I’m a first year Math Comp student. When I first arrived at UCL, I didn’t know any other Computer Science students, but thanks to the various social events organised by CSS, I got to know everyone better, made lots of close friends, and felt more at home. That’s why I’d love to have the chance to contribute to the CS community next year.

As Treasurer, I’ll work with the committee to realise events and activities by overseeing expenditure and managing CSS’s account. I’m confident that I can create a more vibrant society next year, and I’m excited to have the chance to be a part of CSS!

Ridhi Soni

The role of Treasurer comes with great responsibility not only to ensure that the committee makes the most of its funds, but also in making sure that there are no gaps in communication between the society and the union itself. I have proven that I possess the necessary skills for this role, such as through my experience in fundraising for various causes close to my heart, including women-led small businesses.

An interest in finance will help me maximise the efficiency with which the CSS’ funds are managed while learning from and working with the team. Having enjoyed the various CSS events organised over the past year, I now hope to be a part of the team that made them all happen, and look forward to learning further from the role.
