Cancer Charities Alliance Society: President

Hello, my name is Ichika, turning into third year studying BSc Cancer Biomedicine. I have been involved in this society as committee since last year, where I served as a Volunteering Officer.

Last year, I was involved in this society by launching a Student-Led Volunteering project, UCL CancerCare. This intends to publish a monthly newsletter addressing different types of cancer, and it is currently at the point of volunteer recruitment. This year I am running for President, and I hope to continue working towards the realization of this project. Moreover, as a student who belongs to the UCL Cancer institute, I hope to bring cancer researchers and host seminars, talks and socials that are open to anyone regardless of their study but share the same passion for cancer. I am also planning to organize fundraising events apart from academic events and contribute to cancer awareness.
