Kriti Chatterjee
My Name is Kriti and I am standing for the captaincy of UCL'S second basketball team. As a team-player having played state and national level during my school years I have developed a sound understanding of what is required on-and-off court as a captain. The opportunity to help the team play in unity and improve each other as a result of their team-work and dedication will be an extremely rewarding opportunity.
Having played this year with the second team, I have made some great friends who have taught me so many new perspectives and things I would have never experienced before. UCLWB is a great place for a player to learn, grow and explore their potential as a sportsperson and I want to contribute to help it flourish even more!
Along with the competitiveness, I want to ensure all our players prioritise enjoying the game and fitness, and are reminded of why they first started playing. When a player is at ease and is enjoying the process, that is when they can play at their best. I want to ensure each and every player is given an opportunity and outlet to reach and challenge their potential as a player whilst optimising the team-spirit. This will ensure we win and we win something that is more valuable; friendship and growth :)
