Baking Society: Treasurer

My passion for baking, coupled with my academic background in economics and experience in organizing bake sales, makes me motivated to stand for this position.  

I understand the importance of financial management, and I am confident in my ability to manage the society's finances effectively. As a treasurer, I would use my financial management skill to create a budget that is both realistic and sustainable, ensuring that the society can continue to grow and thrive. I would also be committed to ensuring that the society is financially transparent and that all transactions are properly recorded and reported.

My experience in organizing bake sales has taught me the importance of planning and organization. I would work closely with the society's other members to coordinate fundraising events and ensure that they are executed smoothly. I believe that effective communication and collaboration are key to the success of any organization, and I would prioritize these values in my role as treasurer.

Finally, my passion for baking is what motivates me to apply for this role. I understand the time, effort, and resources that go into creating delicious baked goods, and I would be committed to ensuring that the society has the necessary resources to continue producing high-quality baked goods for the UCL community to enjoy
