Artificial Intelligence Society: Head of Events

Hello! My name is Veronika, I study Electrical and Electronic engineering, and I have been First Year Rep in the AI Soc this year. Having seen the work of the society from an insider perspective, I have a full understanding of the responsibility and passion that this role entails. I have really grown to love the society as a community of intelligent and dedicated people, and it would be my honour to carry the mantle. As Head of Events, I would make sure that the insightful talks keep happening, hackathons run smoothly, free pizza always remains on the table, and, most importantly, people with different coding backgrounds can engage with the society events and improve from them.

Hello! This is Ivana. I study Arts and Sciences, specialising in clinical psychology. My interest primarily lies in the Health Technology sector, specifically in eldercare. Outside of academics, I enjoy pole dancing, horseriding, and K-pop dancing. 

Having friends on the committee, I was fortunate enough to gain insight into the operation and attend various events hosted by the AI society this past year. As I enjoyed connecting with other passionate individuals during these events, I hope to contribute my knowledge and background to create exciting experiences and attract more people to the society next year!

Previously, I took part in a sustainability project in a role that focused on creating strategic partnerships with corporates. To further cultivate my organisation and communication skills, I worked with different charities as an outreach officer. At the moment, I am organising the EMEA Summit for 180 Degrees Consulting as the Co-President, for which I manage partnerships, events, and logistics. I believe that my experiences can serve as helpful toolkits for this role as the Head of Events, and I am more than excited to be a part of the vision!
