Rebekah Momodu

Heyy, my name is Rebekah and I’m a first year law student.

ACS has been a society that I have looked forward to attending events and have made great friends as a result. University can be stressful especially with all the upcoming deadlines and a huge jump from sixth form/college. That’s where ACS comes in. I intend to help ACS to continue to create a sense of community where individuals can switch off from all the stress and connect with one another.

I am aiming to maintain a space where people feel included, welcomed, supported and are able to have fun!

As a first year rep for ACS and an individual who has been engaged in the ACS events this year, I have an insight into what people are looking for in ACS and I hope to make this a reality this upcoming academic year. This position plus being a prefect within school has enabled me to develop crucial communication and leadership skills. These skills will enable me to successfully carry out this role.

My aims are:

  • To help build a strong sense of community and connectedness within the ACS through various events and strengthening the ACS family system.

  • Ensuring all cultures feel included and involved within ACS events.

  • Holding regular fun events that people can attend and look forward to, including collabs with other UOL unis to create a sense of community.

Vote for me for a fun and unforgettable uni experience :)
