180 Degrees Consulting Society: Events Director

Hello! My name is Shagun and I am running for the position of Events Director at 180 Degrees Consulting. Through my involvement with the society, I have attended numerous events and have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that 180 DC has on society. As one of the first societies I joined at UCL, it has allowed me to develop essential consulting skills while expanding my professional network and learning from some of the brightest minds.

As the current treasurer of UCL FFFB society, I have gained valuable experience in event planning, budget management, and speaker outreach. Additionally, my experience as the President of the Economics Club in high school has further equipped me with the skills necessary to fulfill the duties of Events Director.

If elected, I plan to host a diverse range of events, including socials, alumni networking events, skill development workshops, case study events, inter-university competitions, guest lectures etc. My goal is to provide members with a variety of opportunities to connect, learn and grow.

As a culmination of my interests in event planning, consulting, and social impact, I believe I am an ideal candidate for the position of Events Director at 180 Degree Consulting. Thank you for considering my candidacy:)
