Volleyball Club: Welfare Officer

Hey! For those who don't know me, I'm Marina- a first year biomedical engineering student and I am running for welfare officer.

Having the opportunity to be part of this amazing team for the past 6 months has been a pleasure. Being surrounded by such amazing individuals, motivates me to make the next step and become an active member of this society. Working closely with every member and ensuring everyone is supported and feels accepted, will be my main goal.

Being engaged to volleyball since a really young age, and collaborating with professionals from around the world, helped me mature as an individual, emphasizing the importance of teamwork.Volleyball  has showed me that nothing is stronger than the bond between individuals who are working towards the same goals.

As a student athlete, management skills play a key role in efficiently balancing both my academic and athletic life. Being a science student can be tough, but my disciplined character will allow me to manage my time more productively, and act in the best interests of all members.My personal experiences will allow me to assist others, and so combined with a strong sense of integrity and motivation, we can accomplish new objectives and reach higher goals.

I believe myself to be a very social and approachable person, always open to talk to people. You will always be welcome to discuss with me any of your thoughts or questions regarding both the society, as well as any personal concerns.
