Hello,

My name is Sam and I am currently the president and co-founder of the UCL robotics society, and I hope to continue my time in this position to grow the society to new heights.

Due to the lengthy affiliation process and COVID interruptions, the society was unable to run any social or workshop events until quite late on meaning we couldn't fulfil all of our plans for the society. However, with a new year over the horizon, I will be able to ensure all of our plans are met.

This will include:

  • At least 8 weeks of in-person robotics workshops (teaching in-demand skills such as ROS)
  • Talks from academics and industry experts
  • Society socials
  • Setting up of a competitive robotics team to compete in the Eurobot competition 2023 (this is currently in the works)
  • Along with much more...

As the current president and one of the founding members, I can ensure you that I am committed to the robotics society will deliver what I promise.
