Christian Union Society: Worship Officer

I am standing for this role because I have such a heart for worship and how our worship glorifies God. I love how it enables us to place our cares and worries at the feet of Jesus, and from there we can fix our eyes on Him and His goodness. 

I have been involved in worship at church for a few years and since joining ucl cu I have regularly played and lead worship. Through being part of these teams, I have seen that worship isn't just about music but it is about praising God and thanking Him for all He has done regardless of our circumstance. 

Also i would love to be on the comittee generally as I love the heart for mission that the cu has. I believe I would be able to serve this well if appointed as worship officer, as I would love to play a part in continuing to grow a culture of worship at cu. Overall I would love to be in this role, and I look forward to seeing what God does through the christian union next year!
