Chess Society: Treasurer

As a society member newer to the game than most, I've had a recent journey getting involved in social and competitive chess. I will use this experience to improve the accessibility of our society to beginner and returning players by organizing more exhibition events. I intend to support the President in obtaining better recognition by the Student's Union as a major society in order to improve the consistency of our in-person meetings. I am personally interested in supporting other initiatives relating to volunteering, as there are some smaller UCL projects playing chess at care homes.
