Mark Rassam

Hey there, I'm Mark and I hope to become Treasurer of the Business Society.

I'm super passionate about business and would love to share that passion with the committee and the rest of the society. There's so much opportunity in the world of business, and I want to make sure as much of that opportunity gets to the members of the Business Society!

Making money go as far as possible is my speciality - I will do my best to ensure that the society provides as much value for it's members as possible. I want to help continue to host informative events, and feature some high profile speakers.

I'd also love to do some new type of events where members can participate in business related activities workshops. I hope that these will excite people and be really enjoyable, whilst also helping members to build business related skills that will help them in life!

I hope you feel I'm a good fit for this role and I look forward to seeing what the next academic year holds.

Leo Chang

The responsibilities of the Treasurer position are twofold, tasked with overseeing the finances and budgeting of the Society in addition to managing Internal affairs and staffing as Executive Director. Having assumed multiple leadership positions in the past, my goal as Treasurer of the Business Society is to foster a professional yet amicable culture for our members and executives, achieved through the apt distribution of funds and the synergetic allocation of human resources.

The former of the two will be achieved by collaborating early with my fellow VPs in the event planning processes to ensure that the budgeting for our events and socials are ample and not wasteful. Furthermore, I hope to increase the productivity of our committee by improving the current usage of senior executives and first-year executives alike, in doing so ensuring a smoother transition to the following administration.
