Bulgarian Society: Treasurer

Hi, I am Petya, a second-year student, studying Economics and Business, and I will be running for the Treasurer position of the Bulgarian Society.

As a treasurer of the society, I will strive to be accountable for all financial matters as well as ensure that they operate within the Bulgarian Society's constitution. I will prudently authorise all expenditures on behalf of the society and work closely with the president to make the best possible use of our finances and available resources

If I get elected to be your treasurer, I will:

• Approach Bulgarian companies, willing to sponsor the main events of the society
• Responsibly disperse the granted budget by the SU, so that the society has all the necessary financial resources to successfully execute all events planned by the committee

Why I am the perfect candidate for this position:

• As an Economics student, I have already taken multiple accounting classes
• I had several internships further exposing me to the finance sphere, which not only introduced me to most financial tools but also taught me to work ethics and integrity
