Board Games Society: Welfare Officer

Hi, I’m Ricky!  I am your Welfare Officer for this year.  I joined Board Game Society for almost 2 years now, and we have seen in-person events for BGS returning for the first time this year following last year’s pandemic.  Throughout the year, I have tried many new games and met many new people, that is why I enjoyed every event this year, and hopefully you did too!   

I really enjoy being part of this society, as a member and as part of the committee, hence I would like to continue the role for another year.

As the Welfare Officer, I will make sure everyone feels welcomed, whether you are a beginner, a casual player, an experienced player, or you always win against everyone else in TI4 ;) ,  I will always be there to look after the welfare of every member of this society, so that everyone can have fun playing board games every week, just like I did this year!

Being a member of the committee, I will also continue to help organising our regular board games night and other events.  Furthermore, I am committed to make this society more inclusive and continue to improve this society.
