Ha, can you believe it's been a whole year already?! I've had a really enjoyable time this last year being your treasurer and I would love to do it for another year!

The board games society is a friendly, inclusive and welcoming society. We have had an amazing number of people come to our events over the last year and more than doubled our membership. Transitioning back to in-person events at the start of the year was challenging but the society has come back now stronger than ever and I'm immensely grateful for the all of the fond memories that I've had over the last year.

Last year I pledged to you that your money would be well spent and that you would have a say in that: throughout the year we have reinvested your money into buying many new games as chosen by you! Our collection has greatly grown and we've all had great fun playing these new games.

I'm a committed member of the society, I've attended nearly every event we've run this year (only Covid could stop me coming) and will continue to help facilitate events, ensuring that everyone there can have a good time.

It's been my absolute pleasure to be your treasurer for the last year and I would be delighted to (embezzle from/) serve you again.

Jocelyn Shao

Hi, I am Jocelyn. I have been your communication officer for last year, I am hoping to serve in a different position this year as a treasurer. My promise is:

More communication with our members regarding where our money goes

Clearer financial budgets

Not embezzling all our funds

I hope I have proved my trustworthiness as a committee last year
