University is a formative part of our lives - whether you are in your first year of an undergraduate course or undertaking a long dreamed of PhD. The knowledge, experiences and friendships we’ll gain at UCL will help define us as individuals.
The Behavioural Innovations Society will be a key part of my UCL experience; a place to meet interesting and unique people who share a common interest in understanding, debating and utilizing behavioural science to provide tangible benefits to people’s lives.
If appointed Treasurer my priorities will be:
- Building and utilising the societies funding to deliver fulfilling and high quality activities.
- Managing the society’s finances and ensuring it maintains a sustainable position.
- Working extensively with the President and other Committee members to create a welcoming environment which provides an inclusive experience for all our members.
I believe I have the experience to deliver this. In my role at the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation I lead and implement the organisation’s strategic objectives, along with supporting its efficient functioning and funding. Prior to this, I worked at HM Treasury and covered the UK’s Official Development Assistance budget, where I led on financial modelling and numerous value for money reviews.
I look forward to being able to bring my passion and expertise to this exciting role.
