Bartlett School of Architecture Society: President

Hi everyone!
I'm Marike (she/her), and I'm currently in my second year of BSc Architecture. In the past year, I have worked with the Bartlett Soc as StuCAN rep and B!CAN (the Bartlett's student-led climate action network) co-founder, representing the society at sustainability fairs and organising events such as our launch party. As your society president, my core interests are improving the Bartlett experience and pushing for a faculty that welcomes student-led change. I aim to

- re-establish an effective student-staff-administration communication through an all-school forum,

- work with the incoming BSA dean to implement student feedback and improve mental health provisions,

- support climate efforts around the school by integrating an active B!CAN branch & offer workshops and lectures,

- set up reoccurring social and networking events such as unit pub quizzes, Bartlett parties and networking events,

- and coordinate with other societies to deliver shared projects such as 3D printing and tech workshops.
