Asian Social Network Society: Welfare and Communications Officer

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie! Although this year has been tough, I feel fortunate that ASN is a place where I (and hopefully many of you guys) can gladly call home. If elected, I promise to help create a welcoming and inclusive environment and to make your experience at ASN a most memorable one!

My first objective would be to ensure that your voices are heard, so I will allow members to vote for their favourite charity events and Convers-Asian session topics and work my hardest to implement the most popular ideas. 

Secondly, I will raise awareness of the importance of the mental and physical wellbeing of students through activities such as inviting speakers to give talks, sending out monthly newsletters with self-care tips and organising fun and relaxing activities such as succulent making, Zumba dancing and oil painting.

Thirdly, I would like to revamp the Discord so that it is more active and social, providing a safe space for members to discuss anything they like.

With my leadership experiences, I am confident in handling the logistics of running a club, including planning events, budgeting, and generating new ideas. I am also a friendly and caring person, willing to listen to your ideas or have a chat about anything. If elected, I promise to commit myself to making your experience at ASN an exciting and unforgettable one!
