Sumayyah Imran

Throughout second and third year, I really enjoyed getting involved in teaching and organising tutorials. I've delivered PACS tutorials and this year I have been mentoring a group for anatomy, in addition to my part-time job tutoring GCSE and A-level. I love being able to help my fellow students understand topics I struggled with; that “aha!” moment is hugely satisfying.

That’s why I’d love to be Anatomy Tutorials Officer next year, and would hugely enjoy collaborating with my peers to design resources to support the new first and second years and to carry on this excellent legacy within the medical school.

I would like to work on the following:

• To design and utilise more 3-D resources in teaching to facilitate understanding
• To add to the banks of questions and resources created by the previous years to make even more exam- and clinical-style questions available for students
