Sarah Samia

Throughout the process of applying to UCL and, of course, getting accepted into my dream university, it has always been a goal of mine to join the Afghan Society. Together, with many ambitious individuals, I would really love to be a part of a change, in helping Afghanistan to be a better place, in terms of helping the society, and to make sure that young individual's education, will not be forgotten. Applying to become the Welfare Officer, I am able to produce and also, campaign the most important discussions and strategies in order to help everyone understand, that our beloved country, will be our main focus. This could mean, in helping with charity events, donations, and many more things to come.  Displaying the excellence of our Afghans; with its culture being presented around the country, and to showcase how beautiful the country can be. There is so much help that can be done, and contributing new ideas, would help us to understand more about what we can do to support our people.

Becoming the Welfare Officer, I am more than eager to learn much more about our amazing country, the traditions, cultures and to meet every single individual in the society!
