Candidates

Yujie Wang (Ms)
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

First, establish a "rapid response channel" – regularly engage with management to address communal space and facility maintenance pain points, driving efficient solutions. Second, enliven the community through the arts – leverage my hosting and vocal skills to organize dorm talent shares, festival galas, and academic tea parties, breaking down unfamiliarity for those away from home. I’ll also collaborate with the Students’ Union to secure resources and improve welfare, making St Pancras Way an inclusive, supportive "second home" where every resident feels a sense of belonging.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

My core value: "delivery + diverse skills + empathy." Former university students’ union arts leader, organized 10+ events (e.g., Top 10 Singer Competition) – skilled in resource integration, coordination, and quick execution. Experienced in hosting ceremonies, with strong communication and adaptability to bridge all parties. Vocal certification and choir experience bring creative flair. 3-year UN donations foster inclusivity, supporting international/introverted students. Patient listening and follow-up ensure every concern is valued.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Choose me: a "needs-aware, capable, responsible" partner. As a St Pancras Way resident, I prioritize solving practical issues and enriching community life. Years of student leadership and event experience equip me with solid planning/communication skills—no formalities. Honors like "Outstanding Student Leader" prove my responsibility and execution. I promise: closed-loop feedback, engaging art activities, inclusive care, and "every request answered, every task delivered." I’m an implementer, not just a spokesperson—let’s co-build a more comfortable, cohesive St Pancras Way.
